Closeout Sale items, trade-in sale, consignment items, special orders, layaway purchases, modified and/or custom design pieces (including sizing) and loose gemstones/loose diamonds, body jewellery (Earrings, Nose studs, Belly jewellery) and jewellery parts are FINAL SALES, NON RETURNABLE/EXCHANGEABLE.
Jewellery and Watch Repairs are a final sale. We reserve the right to have major stones inspected by our gemologist before a refund is authorized. Items not picked up within 6 months will become property of Excel Jewellers. LAYAWAY payments are required every 30 days. Items placed on layaway will be held for a period of 180 days from the date on this receipt. Items not paid and picked up beyond the end of this period will be returned to stock, and all payments will be forfeited. Liability for any damage or loss of items in our possession shall be limited to the actual cost to repair or replace the item(s).

JEWELLERY REPAIR DISCLAIMER Specific repair has been made to your jewellery item, we cannot guarantee all aspects of its future performance.
All special orders require a 30% deposit and are non-cancellable. Special orders are not refundable or exchangeable. A special order includes any jewelry, gemstone or watch that has to be ordered to accommodate the client's request for an alternative style, size, metal or color that is not available in stock.
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems, and labor furnished for a specific client. Custom jewelry is non-refundable and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort will be made to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction.
Layaway purchases are non-refundable and payments are required at least every 30 days. Articles placed on layaway will be held for a period of 90 days from the date on this receipt. If no satisfactory arrangements have been made for full payment beyond the end of this period, the item(s) will be returned to stock, and all payments will be forfeited. At our discretion only, layaways may be cancelled in the event of special circumstances. In such a case, a restocking fee of 15% of the original invoice will be charged, with the remaining balance to be issued as a store credit only.
Liability for any damage or loss of items shall be limited to the actual cost to repair or replace the item(s). This store shall not be held responsible for the following: identification or condition of jewelry at time of receipt; altered, treated, or enhanced diamonds or colored stones; and/or pieces that are unmarked or marked incorrectly. Customer's jewelry can be accepted for repair, sizing, and/or remounting with the understanding that ALL work is to be done at the "customer's risk". This is due, but not limited to, lightweight mountings, flawed or fragile or chipped stones, poor manufacturing, very worn items, poor workmanship by a previous jeweler, or sizing up or down beyond the limits of the ring. Not responsible for items left beyond 90 days.
We will clean your jewelry (ultrasonic and steam) and check the settings free of charge. We recommend this be done every 6 months. Not responsible for the loss of stones due to worn prongs and settings when cleaning.
All watch overhauls are guaranteed for 12 months. There is no guarantee for moisture, bands, crystals, or minor repairs. Replacement of watch battery does not guarantee function or water resistance. Battery life is not guaranteed.
Purchasers of colored gemstones should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted trade practices. All colored gemstones listed on the front of this sales slip have probably been subject to stable and possibly undetectable enhancement processes. All relevant information will be provided to the best of our knowledge. Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade.
The diamonds set in our jewellery have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with United Nations Resolutions. Excel Jewellers hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
All subscription payments are non-refundable. This means that once you subscribe and your payment is processed, there will be no refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or for periods in which your account remains open but you do not use the services.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions will automatically renew for the same subscription period at the end of each subscription period. You may cancel the automatic renewal at any time, but no refunds will be issued for any remaining portion of the subscription period.
You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellation will only become effective at the end of your current billing cycle, and you will not receive a refund for any portion of the subscription fee paid for the current period.
Excel Jewellers reserves the right to change the subscription fees or these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website, and will apply to all subsequent subscription periods.
